Seafood Station, Aman Suria

There are some restaurants that you would return to, just for that one dish.
Got that sort of restaurant in your list? ;)

Seafood Station is one of those for me. Went there for CNY this year, was not impress with most of the dishes, except for, nope, not one dish, but a type of seafood..
Crabs, that is.. :)
Ever since we tasted the delicious crabs served there, we have been returning over and over again..
Not that I'm saying that other dishes are bad, those were just average and really paled in comparison to the crabs.
But for varieties and fillers (yes, I have frens who wont get full by just eating crabs ;p), we had some country style fried rice.. which was ok, if not, a tad salty..
Some Portuguese champagne chicken.. which tasted suspiciously like marmite+Guinness chicken. Pretty good.
Some vegetables for good digestion..hehe.
And the highlight for the night, the crabs..
Seafood Station serves meat crabs, I was told that it's Sri Lankan meat crabs. Usually, the sizes of their crabs starts from medium sized crabs, which is about 1kg for one crab. Nonetheless, do call and check with them as I was there once and their crab 'harvest' were small meat crabs; it didnt give that much satisfaction compared to medium-large ones..;p
We ordered 2 types of cooking style..
The Chilli Crabs (the one we had is a slightly above medium size, but looks huge to us)..Most of my frens love this dish, the sauce is thick and spicy sweet; hint of sambal and crunch peanuts and end with a swirl of raw egg before serving. Goes really well with the mantau (note, sometimes it takes them really, really long to serve the mantau). My fave would always be their Salted egg yolk crab..Just stunning. So lovely that it usually leaves me quite speechless for a while (coz i'm busy devouring it..haha)
Minimum order of crab per cooking style is only one, which I think is a plus point. Total bill was RM140.

Seafood Station is located at H-G-18 Ground Floor, Jalan PJU 1/45, Aman Suria Damansara, 47301 PJ. Tel: 03-78063539.
