Restoran Sunrise, SEA Park, PJ

I have been eating Sunrise's roasted duck for few years as I used to stay at that area years back.
My friends always said that I'm lucky to stay at SEA park at that time, which has loads of delicious food. One famous restaurant has got to be Sunrise, famed for it's roasted duck.
Restoran Sunrise only opens for lunch, but will be packed to the brim even before 12 noon. Patrons come from all over Klang Valley just to savour this succulent dish. Business is so good, I once sat next to the staff in charge of chopping the duck; she was chopping non stop; the only time she stops is when the ducks are fully sold off or while waiting for the next batch of roasted ducks. I think she was chopping 1 to 2 ducks per minute...
So why so famous?

I think Sunrise serves one of the crispiest roasted duck around; the skin is thin, crispy and flavourful at the same time. And as the roasted ducks are sold at high speed (lots of people do take away too), you are sure to get piping hot roasted duck which is really, a delight. The meat, well I guess depends on the parts you get, are mostly tender. Usually for duck, I'll opt for breast meat. However, when it comes to really juicy duck meat, I think Loong Foong's (also in SEA park, only opens for dinner) roasted duck fared better.

The only side dish available is vegetables, else you'll get your dose of rice, preserved veg soup, chilli sauce and their dark herb soy sauce to go with the roasted duck..
I won't say that this is the best roasted duck, let's just say it's one of the good ones around. Half duck costs about RM25 (i think..hehe)
Restoran Sunrise is located at 31, Jalan 21/1, SEA Park, 46300 Petaling Jaya. Tel: 603-78769689

My dad usually buy from Loong Fong, dat is why until now also never been to Sunrise. I heard it's a huge crowd there all the time but maybe should not be so lazy. Must go one day to try.
