Foodies @ Sandias

Haha, how very, very belated this post is..:)
Was away since last saturday, and finally, I get to write on the food bloggers gathering at Sandias last friday...
It felt like I was going for some blind date, well, a mass blind date in fact...Was glad that SF graciously accompanied me to this gathering.
We reached about 7:45pm, and Sandias was already crowded with lots of food bloggers... I didnt even know where to start! Lovely Boo, who hosted the gathering came over and introduced herself, seeing that I was like a meek lamb hiding in the corner..

I must admit, I am an introvert and it's really hard for me; who really sucks big time at socialising, to be in such gathering..Hence, thrown in the deep sea and with no life jacket, I flailed around helplessly, trying to 'mingle' and 'work the crowd' which i failed miserably..:(.

Still, it was funny to see how we introduced ourselves, since we dont use our real name in our blog; seeing the blank look on their faces when we introduce ourselves with our real name.. and reintroducing ourselves with our blog name, with the ubiquitous exclamation of Oh, so you are (name of blog)!

I had the pleasure to sit with..

Lyrical Lemongrass : voluptuous and vivacious; you certainly wont get bored around her (and knowing who her tall, dark and handsome Bald Eagle was an added bonus..hehe);

Kenny Mah & his gorgeous partner, Nisa: Kenny was funny and witty, and yes, you do look like your picture :p. Nisa, sweet and friendly, really easy to talk to;

Timothy: Salsa guru and does his 'mingling' really well. Hmmm, did you take any shots of us? I thought you did...

Mei Yen and Bob: Lovely couple, Mei yen was sweet but a tad shy and Bob, very friendly.. and congrats again!

Also managed to say hi to...

Xiu Long Bao: Pretty lass, very sweet girl who came over to say hi :)

Tankiasu: Was nice meeting you, though you seemed a little blur when I introduced myself ;p

Lots of cravings: nice meeting you too tall guy! you're really tall..hehe

Ipoh mali talak sombong: very shy boy boy hor? was glad i managed a brief chat with you before i left..

Tummy thoughts: was a very brief introduction, wondered if you recalled? anyways, am glad i've finally saw you..:)

Babe KL: wah, you really are a babe..one hot mama!

WMW: bubbly and live wire of the nite :)

fatboybakes: doubt you'll remember me, since you introduced yourself to me 3 times.. (must be the Martell)..hehe

food-cookies: was sorta hi & bye, but very glad we met :)

I didnt get to say hi to lots more, and I do apologise for that...Hope to see you guys in future food blogger gatherings! And to Boo, thanks for organising this, really appreciate that :)

As for the food, well, it was mediocre for me, hence I took only 1 shot of my mains.. Was just too intimidated by all the canggih cameras around me to take more pictures!
