B & Best Restaurant, Kelana Jaya

I have heard of this place selling seafood noodles since last year, but somehow did not manage try it until recently..Only opens for breakfast and lunch, the seafood noodles stall also serves seafood with porridge and fried fishcakes.
Wondering if they serve the same seafood noodles as Segambut, I quickly asked for orders. And no, they dont served the type of seafood noodles as Segambut's. Only serving clear broth (ching tong), you can choose your noodles and type of fish for the noodles. You could also have mixed seafood, where you'll get fish slices, huge prawns, lala, fish balls and sea weed. I kinda of regretted ordering pure fish slices noodles when I saw the uncle sitting next to me devouring his prawns....haha
Anyways, while waiting for our noodles, we tucked into their freshly fried fish cakes..Springy, savoury fish cake, the fish cakes had the 'QQ" texture. With the thin but crispy skin, this is one tasty snack while waiting for our noodles.
I had my flat noodles with sliced mah yau (threadfin) with soup ( you can also opt for dry noodles)
With RM11 a bowl, I must say that it's worth the price paid as my bowl was filled to the brim with sliced mah yau. Each piece of fish was wonderfully sweet, very fresh slices of fish indeed. With seaweed, fried onion garlic and spring onions, the soup was mild flavour, which I enjoyed. Some of you may find it bland especially if you are fans of curry/ tomyam based seafood noodles.
Depending on their supplies, they also serve pomfret, grouper and giant grouper fish slices with porridge/ noodles of your choice.
Restoran B& Best is located at Jalan SS4C/5, Kelana Jaya. Just behind the Kelana Jaya LRT station.
Note: Eating this fishcake reminds me of a top notch fish cake that was served in KL. Most unfortunately, it has moved and I cant seem to find it. Also serves famous fishballs, taufoo pok and killer homemade chilli sauce. That shop (corner shop) was located behind Dang Wangi LRT station. Same road that you take to reach the back open parking at Sheraton. Very near Asian Heritage row. I've been looking for it since it moved (without much notice). Any help kawan kawan sekalian?
