This one very easy lah, Lake Bratur right...I can't remember the name, been there two times. But Bali doesn't really have very good food lah, in my opinion.
xiulongbao: spot on! yup, airasia. ok la, quite safe there.. we didnt really hang around high traffic/ kuta area. plus it was kuningan fest when i went, it's a very holy fest so i was very sure it's safe :)
jason: no la.. too expensive to go ler
lyrical lemongrass: true, true..pagodas are everywhere! hehe
RM: wah, even more accurate than xlb! hehe..yes, lake batur..yeah, food there is, well, erm, rather limited in choices and flavours..
precious pea: *claps, claps* so very observant on the tropical flowers! ;)
ohhh....food not that limited..... so many diff kind of balinese food like babi guling, bebek bengil, bebek betutu, nasi padang, bakso, mie ayam, pork satay, balinese style bbq meat.... :) okla... all very herbal-ish and spicy!!
The fine dining restaurant esp in Seminyak have lotsa good food.... Kafe Warisan have my vote... good..and reasonable, Kudeta if you are willing to pay...:)
wah shiok..i had no idea that was bali hehe..i m dying for a holiday..but i had already two big ones at the start of the year..no leave no money..boo hoo
xlb: should be fine..but maybe dont go now la..it's summer hols soon and the place will be packed with aussies and nzlanders. pirce mite be a lil high for now. i stayed slightly above kuta..nearer to legian beach. can walk over to kuta beach, it's connected..

the cheapest hotel offered by airasia is ratna kuta, so this is the dangerous 'kuta area'?
